Ok, this is new to me; got my stupid project up and running with Electra-print OPT and plate choke on 304tl parafeed amp. Sounds really good, but what's interesting and new to me is when testing it through my regular speakers you can hear the music (Tocatta and Fugue in D; good test) in the plate choke. The amp is in the garage, quite a distance from the speakers and the music is perfectly reproduced, anything above about 3/8 throttle. This didn't happen with the cheapo test choke (wrong value anyway). Any thoughts there before I bother Jack. And no the choke is completely cool to the touch. Thanks Ron Parola
