Edcor vs Electra-Print
 

Allow me to throw a grenade here.... :)

I would like to hear from forum members who have compared the big Edcors (CXSE25-series) to anything that Electra-Print makes. How do they compare as far as sound quality and measured performance goes? Also, how big is the footprint of the Electra-Print transformers generally?

I'm building two stereo amps (for bi-amping) using 300B tubes. I have one stereo amp completed using the Edcor CXSE25-8-5K. I'm contemplating having Electra-Print supply the OPTs for the other amp to try them out. In the end, I'll go with identical OPTs for the two amps.
