You may have too.

I bought my k502 kit from them and the carrier wouldn't give it to me until I paid vat.

I then bought valves, Hammond 1609's and parts, Royal mail didn't charge me extra.

Think it depends who makes the final delivery, Royal Mail or their carrier,


I'm looking at the Tube Depot Model 16LS Stereo Integrated Tube Amplifier.

Don't know about their current incarnation but early builders of this had mixed feelings.

Plenty of good designs on this forum if you feel confident to build from scratch
