Default Simple Audio Generator

Can someone recomend a free download for a simple audio generator. mainly what i need is a sine wave generator.

i thought you maybe wanted a low distortion sinewave generator....

sorry for hi-jacking the thread but if someone can point out some schematics for a tube-based sinewave generator for audio i would be a happy guy!

Why tubes? Seems like a wate of time and energy (power). And .4% distortion, makes it useless for THD measurements (except maybe for speaker)

why tubes?
-there is nothing more beautiful than a sinewave generated by tubes.

actually i am going to build this one:
Enter Code to Begin Download
a clone of Heathkit AO-1

Now i just have to dig out a 6SN7 and a 6X5 rectifier from the junkbox

If you can play sounds from your PC and hook that up to the device under test then have a look here Very simple but may do the job.
