6C6-2A3 Amplifier: Changes for 45?

I would like to build this simple amplifier with the '45 instead of the 2A3. Would it work correctly if I change the output transformer impedance to 5000 ohms and the cathode resister to 1500 ohms?

Yes. With 5 kohm You will have more bass, but little bit less output power.
