Default Dared mp30

Hi friends! I'd like to buy my first tube amplifer. A friend of mine has a Dared mp30, new, for an affordable price. I'd like to use it with full range speakers, Tang Band W8-1808 or Fostex FE166En in DIY enclosures.

I listen almost jazz and acoustic music.

Do anybody have experience with this amplifer? It seems to be a good entry level item.

Thanks in advance

Searching around there is the Dared mp30B version........It is using 300Bs which is a common output tube. If this is indeed what you are looking at........It is of Chinese origin..........That said.........some Chinese built amps are of poor quality, some are great machines at a great price. Some of these manufacturers come and go with the wind...never to be heard from again. There seems to be a consensus that Chinese built amps have room for improvement..some more than others......and again some seem to be built poorly going up in flames when you first power them up.
Someone here needs to give you the lowdown.........an owner of this particular amp.

In regards to what Rick said, it is true that a lot of Chinese amps and companies are not worth investing in. However, Dared has been around for several years now and they make pretty decent gear. One of my brothers had their 6V6 P-P amp several years back (about 6-7 years ago) and it was a really good sounding amp. Dared has come a long way since then and have built some very admirable amps, some of which cost upwards of $2000.

I say is that MC 30 you're looking at is in good shape and you're happy with the price, go for it. It uses 300B tubes so you should like its sound signature with type of music you listen to.
