Can I sub a 50l6 in a circuit that uses a 50c5 without changing other components? I have studied their data-sheets and it appears to me that it would be ok? Any advise greatly appreciated...
Thanks, Nick |

Similar but different pin-out. 50L6 has higher max ratings. You'd have to rewire the socket.

Yep, you have to change it all to octal sockets. Filament voltages and currents will be the same.
