I've read in Pete Millett's description of his 307A Push-Pull Amp
some good words on 7W7 pentode. Can somebody compare it to some more well known pentodes of similar specs (not only cheap ones) as driver tube both in pentode and triode modes? |

No I did not test it yet.
I found interesting info in old book: "...7V7, 7W7, and 14W7 are actually hexodes, but since g2 and g3 are internally connected and function as a single screen grid they are usually considered as pentodes". |
