where do you find your tube treasures

I am a newb here so here goes where is it that all of you audiophils find your tube treasures to restore? I had a tube amp head about 12 years ago and fell in love with the sound that only tubes can give. I also love the purple glow of the amp head's power tubes...

Everywhere.

Friends cleaning out the barn.

Thrift stores.

Garage sales.

Dumpsters.

Big Garbage day (A national holiday for tube scroungers!)

Craigs List

Put the word out - networking works surprisingly well. Sometimes I think that this stuff develops a gravity field of its own, it just appears.

Forget internet (except perhaps for free-of-charge local classifieds sites)
