I'm no stranger to 1940's US tubes - in fact the tubes I'm listening music thru right this moment were made in 1943 for the US army - I'm sure everyone has a few USSR tubes also. What I've been wondering is where are all the nazi Germany's tubes? They were an industrial superpower with relatively advanced technology, one would imagine there would be quite a lot of tubes left over in some warehouses. Or even a mention somewhere, if not a datasheet!
Is there any info on the internet about nazi tubes? Dare I ask if someone knows a webstore with some for sale? Just a historical curiosity I've been pondering. After all, post war there was substantial production of tubes in Germany ie. Siemens. |

Maybe there are also catholic and protestant, hindu, pagan, islamic, confucian tubes out there, according to the factory owners religious affiliation? |

At this point I'd like to encourage everyone to do a little reading on the guy who founded Vishay...interesting and moving story.

My ГУ-50 and 4П1Л don't have swastikas on them. They are fair tubes, and their prototypes were designed by Telefunken for German military and police.
