How to install a motor run capcitor

Hi, got a question about motor run capcitors. New single phase motor has 4 leads. Brown, white, black and a brown wire with white tracer (stripe). It comes with a motor run capacitor. I can see where the black wire and white wires go into contactor and then into the dual round run capacitor based on the wiring diagram, however since the old fan motor was not a single phase, no run capacitor was used. My guess is that brown wire and brown w/ white stripe from the new fan go into the 5 MFD run capacitor. Does the new run capacitor get wired (connected) to "F" on the dual capacitor also? Thanks

Your post is somewhat confusing. "I can see where the black wire and white wires go into contactor and then into the dual round run capacitor based on the wiring diagram" If you have four wires, black, white, brown and brown with tracer then the black and white are power. That is pretty much standard. The cap should go to the brown and brown with white tracer but no connection to the contactor. On a dual cap the connection would be Common and F. On a dual there is a terminal marked Comp which would go to the compressor. There is no polaization so it makes no difference which wire is which on the cap. If this is a three phase the compressor would not use a cap.

What kind of tube amp is it for? Pretty sure Black is "line" and white is "nutral" for the main winding and the other two are for the winding that provides the phase rotation. Having 4 wires alows you to select the CW or CCW rotation. I don't get what you mean by "F" and dual capacitor.
Probably "F" goes to "field" (the winding) and the other terminal goes to "line". Can you put up an image of the diagram?

Usually motor run caps wires are brown. I assume you have 110v fan motor, so white is neutral, black hot and the two browns are cap.
