Please take care HT bites!

Hmmm which one is the driver. Is that the 12ax7 right by the power tubes? And thanks i will check the connector and report back. I know HT bites, thats why Im going to drain the caps EVERY single time unless of course I have to leave the power on to check any components. If that is the driver, then yes, i changed out all seven.

Don't leave power on! LOL

V3 is the driver! You could just swap it for another of the same type in the amp see if the fault moves or changes!

Upon visual inspection I saw no issues anywhere on the output section of the amp. Solders all looked good and no chars or corrosion.

This amp has a lot of relays in the signal path. SK101, SK102, SK103. If it is possible to get to these with the amp on "TAKE care" try tapping each of them and see if the fault appears. They are on page 10 at the bottom. a dirty contact or bad connection can cause this! You could try switching the relays on and off and see if the fault changes. You need to work from output to input through the signal path.

I have to sign off now, hopefully someone will pick this up with you. I will try and catch you later.

Regards
M. Gregg

Oh and M. one more thing. I saw in an earlier post of yours that you said all of the power tubes look fine, but the second one has/d a vacuum leak. I am thinking that there may be an issue in a resistor on that second power tube. Those tubes were only nine months old.
