Wondering if someone can provide spice model for :
- output transformer (Mutual,L,R,C) - tubes: WE-437, WE-417, FIVRE 6J5, AMPEREX 7788, SIEMENS C3M, WE310A, WE300B, WE-VT52, WE-274B, RCA 50, RCA 845, GE 211. Many thanks Doigtee |

Well. I have some general Spice models for some of the types you mention.
You can also find more Spice models for tubes at: http://www.duncanamps.com/spicemodels.html Unfortunately I haven't tried any of these models yet. |

Do you think that we can make some relevant AC simulation with those model. For example for distorsion measure we don't have the noise model. Anyway it is a good start for DC analysis: operating point identification and input sensitivity with respect to the input driver choice. Did you check yourself some test bench with 845 or 211 SE? Yes, you can do some AC analysis with these models, although you can't do any noise simulation since these models doesn't describe noise in any way(I think).
Distorsion analysis will also be a problem, my experience is that even the characteristic tube distorsion will not be shown when doing AC analysis. |
