I'm working on a parts list for my winter GM-70 build, And I was wondering if out of all the tubes they cloned, did the Russians ever stick a cap on a variant of the gm-70?

I don't think so. Some of the big pentodes did, GK-71 comes to mind.

Not sure how a triode-wired GK-71 would compare to the GM-70. It sure is a nice looking DHP Kenneth
