I have a mercury 1000 that does not have tube data for 8417's.
since the Mercury 1100A, 1100B, and 1100C use the same settings for testing 8417's as used for kt-88/6550/etc, I tested using kt-88 settings and just raised the load til I got the correct transconductance. Anyone have updated tube data for a Mercury 1000 that includes 8417? thanks |

You did it right. Now you have the data, and should share it with other owners of that machine.

confirmed.
just found out that the tube chart for a Mercury 2000 is good on a mercury 1000. The only difference between a 2000 and a 1000 is a transister tester. In the Mercury 2000 tube chart i have, the load is blacked out and hand changed to 50. I was using 45 thru guestimation. |
