bowei amp for audionote ax-2 speakers?

I've been looking for a new tube amp for my new ax-tow's (Audio Note).

would any of these two be a good bet? or should I be looking elsewhere?

Bowei 2A3C-B Hi-End Class A Tube Integrated Amp - eBay (item 140449108187 end time Oct-04-10 00:40:01 PDT)

or

BOWEI 300B King class A Tube Amplifier Black Version - eBay (item 130428066707 end time Oct-04-10 00:45:01 PDT)

The 300B amp would be okay I guess. I wouldn't buy it though when they claim it sounds better than a € 7.500 amp.. And spell "vavle", but that's just me..

Just keep in mind, the AN speakers state they are 90db efficient. So unless you are planning on doing nothing but near field monitoring, the 2a3 amp will most likely run out of steam fairly quickly. I've used my 300B amps on some 89db speakers before, while the setup sounded fine on some jazz and smooth music, rock and roll sounds a bit thin even at higher volumes. Just my 2 cents worth.. ck

I've heard the speakers on an 8w amp in the shop, sounded really good to me (can't remember what amp though).

But can't you tell anything about an amp form tube config etc, is listening the only option (hard to buy Chinese then)

I saw a review on the 300b amp in Italian though (google translate isn't much help)

would the Bowei SJ-813 be a better bet? I've heard good things about the audioromy fu13, but maybe their not as similar as I think?

I am interested to buy the Bowei SJ-813. It dilevers some more power then a 300B and should have the same sound. Can't find anything about this amp...

Anyone knows?
