Chinese 6N3 preamp questions
Bought something exactly like this (except for top cover and trafo) from ebay:
NEW Buffer Pre-amplifier Headphone AMP KIT Tube 6N3, Transformer included [Tube-6N3] - US$54.99 : Satistronics Store here is a similar ebay link: Buffer Pre-amplifier Headphone AMP KIT Tube 6N3 New - eBay (item 190434511277 end time Aug-29-10 19:46:37 PDT) I had thought "kit" meant I put it together but it came as pictured. OK, but I'd rather know how it works. anyone any knowledge with this one? Seller does not have a schematic, and it is a simple circuit but dual layered. BTW the "volume" control seems to be a 50k pot on the output which strikes me as less than ideal. |
