Recently lucked into some metalwork that I realised would make an excellent basis for a SEDHT amp. I have all the other bits (transformers etc) but am torn as to what output tubes to use. The candidates are : 211, 805, 845 and 212. I have loads of all of them. If I aim for around 40-50 watts the field narrows to 212 and 805 (212 in A1 or 805 in A2). Anyone see either of these having any outstanding advantage over the other?.

I like the 845 best out of all of them....just cuz. Try to find a pair of RS607 if you want a REAL amp.
