Question Cheap valve amp kit... Anyone else thinking of having a try ?

I am thinking of getting one of these and using a different input transformer, (I live in Australia with 240volts) anyone else had a look at them ??

Check out Voltsecond's page at:
http://www.audioasylum.com/index.html
you will find him at the loose parts page on the Bottlehead Asylum.
He has a page devoted to this amp or somthing very similar.

If you can scavenge an appropriate power transformer, go for it. That will be your main problem however.
