Does any one have any Idea what tubes can replace the Chines 6N1 tube ? |

6DJ8 / 6922 / ECC88 / 7308 can be good alternatives, but it depends on the circuit.
Do you have a schematic of how and where the 6N1 tube is used? The chinese 6n1 is a sick (and very different) puppy, but very often, tube amp manufacturers design around the russian 6n1p and plugin chinese toys afterwards. |

i've got the yaqin mc-10L and i hate my life. I've plugged in philips sq e88cc and fried them. The Russians 6n1p-eb i have all seem noisy. Hope you don't have the same problem

What is so different about it ? Good or bad ? What about the others , witch one sounds good ? There going in a Yaqin VK 2100

Well everytime I put 6922/6dj8/e88cc variant into the amp, they turn on, you see flashes in the tube and bye bye tube most if the time. I've seen people use pcc88 but I'm not game.. Isn't the 6n1 plate voltage ALOT higher than a 6dj8 variant?

Going back about 3 years - On a Music Angel PP EL34 Amp I successfully subbed Winged 'C' Svetlana 6N1P. They were MUCH better.
