Default Suppo el34

Well after reading these forums i decided to try my first valve amp.

I wasnt looking to spend too much money but also wanted something with some power, and after many hours on ebay, and listening to a valve amp in perth i decided on the suppo.

I spoke to joe many times for a few weeks via email and he was very good. So i ordered one.

It arrived about 6 days later, and i was very very satisfied. very well packed, although the suppo sticker on the front looked a little cheap. Plugged it in after putting in the valves and it worked !! i was very happy

after using it for about 2 weeks i can say that it works quite well. Plenty powerfull enough, even for a party though it does run hot, which i assume is normal. The sound is very good.

Compared to my yamaha home theatre receiver, it has far more trebble and base, and not so much midrange. Before the mids over powered the treble and it always frustrated me.

So all in all very happy and would recommend this amp.

Cheers

Tom

6 month update, the amp is working great still. It gets used roughly once a week for about 4 hours and is great. The sound has really changed and it always amazes me how powerful it is. Everyone who has heard it says it is a fantastic sounding amp, and compliments me on how good it is
