Did anyone finish their 6C33 amp?

I'm quite interested in this tube but can't decide whether to go PP or SE, OTL or use an output transformer. Any opinions greatly appreciated.

1579 is the equivalent of 6SL7, equivalent 6P9 - 6AG7. Later in the first stage has been tested ECC81 and ECC85. It made the sound much better.6S33S with the usual fixed bias can not be used: plate current is often increased without control at constant voltages of the grid. Therefore, to make the management bias with a simple transistor circuit.

If I want to build a 6C33C amp, it must be OTL. Just not sure which circuit has best performance and stability.

Some time ago I got also interested in that 6C33.The huge amount of power compaired to the output was a bit too far out for me .
Perhaps someone can play with what I imagined,so here it is.

Nice amp!!!

Is it possible to "adapt" this schematic to use headphones? e.g Zana Deux (on this case the Zana is an OTL amp)

Cheers.

Wow, This is the best chassis I have see today, large metal table for heat disspation and thick wood sides for filter trafo ressonance.
Congratulations
