My 2A3 amp came with 5V3 rectifiers. One is reading lower than the other one and I am having to turn the volume up on that side louder than the other.
When I went looking for a replacement or upgrade with same electrical characteristics I came across the ones in the subject. I understand the 5931 is a ruggedized version Milspec. Which would be the best replacement that might be a little better than a 5V3? By better I just mean able to provide solid power without sag. |

"One is reading lower"
Lower what: Voltage, current Gm? In the end there isn't a better rectifier than the 5V3, 5V3A and 5AU4. Check epay. They are going for $10 - $15. |

Lower on my TV-3 tester. I saw they're not that expensive I just wondered which ones I should go after.
Thanks for the reply. |
