Question Any Russian analog of 12BY7 ?

Hi!

Anyone knows if there is a Russian analog or close substitute of 12BY7 ? Searched through several tube data books, found literally nothing.

Thanks in advance !

May be 6J10P? Except filament voltage. There were not so many Russian tubes designed for 12V filament operation. Mostly rugged military ones, with different metalized envelopes.

Thanks for the tip! I don't care about filament voltage, if the tubes are comparable but fillament is different it is no problem for me.

Bill's Ham Radio WWW Server database search shows that for 12BY proffered substitute is 12DQ7, and possible replacement 12GN7. And in turn, 12DQ7 similar to 6DQ7 (with different heater). 6J10P seems somewhat different.

Yes, but I can't find anything closer to 12BY7.

Here is a great page about Russian tubes: Tube List (Russian)
