To regulate or not?
I tend to believe heater regulation is not necessary in straight amps if designed well and implemented well. Directly heated Triodes however I think should be regulated for the very best in hum nulling. Building fully regulated supplies however does run antithesis to the very nature of simple tube circuits.
Pre-amps however I believe should be fully regulated because of the very low signal levels thruout the system.

wanna ask opinion:
which one produce good sound: regulated or unregulated heather for tube ?
For low level stages, regulated is best for noise reduction. For the usual 1.0Vrms input, it really doesn't matter.
For DHT types, you're probably better off going with regulated DC on the filaments.
