Hammond Integrated Amp Kits 1950s
Hi there
a few months back i got a hold of 2 integrated Hi Fi amps that- from what i gather- were sold as kits in the 1950s. they are: the Wellington Seven and the Canadiana Mk I i have managed to track down a schematic on the 'net for the Wellington Seven. These two units look almost (if not completely) identical. I am new to tube amps (the guts of them, anyway- i have been playing guitar and pedal steel in bands for 18 years) so i hope to use these things to help me find my way around some design and maintenance learning. does anyone have any more info on these amps? thanks for your time. |
