External DC power supply?

I'm starting on a 6C33C project based on either the "Simplex" or "Borberly" designs. One idea I'm entertaining is building two monoblocks and building the entire power supply on a third chassis and connecting the monoblocks to the power supply via a large multipair cable and Amphenol connectors. So my question is, am I going to have problems transferring high voltage b+, filament voltages, gnd, etc. over a large cable of say 4' ?

I used to work on recording consoles where all the DC voltages were supplied to the console over a cable like this, these voltages were all under 24vdc however.

Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.

As long as everything is dc you will be fine, people do it all the time. You wont run into problems until your well over 500vdc, and even then your b+ will be ghost current. At that point you need to start thinking about your voltage limits of your resistors too

Yeah, everything is DC. I think the highest voltage is 450VDC @ about 100mA, the others are 270 @ 220mA and then filaments at 6.3v @ 6A. The filaments were going to be AC but I think I'll go ahead and rectify them. I thought about just mounting the filament supplies on the mono block chassis but that would sort of defeat the whole purpose of the external supply wouldn't it? haha

I seem to remember the heater of each 6C33 needing about 6A. Best to keep that in mind when choosing your wire and connectors.
