6DJ8 (balanced) tube line stage
Hello These line stage can be used as a balanced line stage to drive amplifier like Aleph X etc .. Any idea ,advise welcome . ![]() Thanks Greets gabor |

In theory you can use the illustrated left / right channels as hot / cold phase of a balanced line stage. However in practice the two channels / phases in this design do not cross-reference to each other, and therefore are not always going to be 100% balanced.
Probably best to leave this as an unbalanced line stage, and look for other solutions. Consider transformers as a good way to achieve balance, and also have a read of some of the articles here: John Broskie's Guide to Tube Circuit Analysis & Design (such as Balanced Aikido and http://www.tubecad.com/june99/page7.html) Also consider buying TubeCAD software (not so expensive) to help you with design of a balanced stage.
