Default How to Read faded Tube Numbers

Anyone have a good method to read tube numbers from tubes that have faded?

Some times it can be done by breathing on them and hold up towards a lamp.

I have also put them in the freezer. When you take them out moisture will condense on the glass and may make the numbers readable
