Default Tweaking/correction question - Xindak MT-1 balance

I recently bought a Xindak MT-1 class A push-pull pentode stereo tube amp, rated 2x12W, used but in excellent condition. After listening for a while I noticed that the channels were not in balance, and tried everything external but nothing helped (it does not have a "balance"-wheel).

So, I decided to open it to see whether something visible would be damaged or wrong there. Nothing was. However, I noticed two (obviously one per channel) potentiometers. Small blue box with a screw to adjust voltage. I tried gently to vary these, and it helped! After looking at the internet, they're rated 100000ohm +-1% or something like that.

However, these together seem to set the total amount of electricity that go into the system, and so probably vary the amount of voltage that the valves recieve etc. I dont actually know much about amp electrics, but this seems logical to me.

The question is: does anybody have any tips or clues on how to or how not to set these? Any measurements that can be made to set them correctly, both for the balance to be right and for the total voltage in the system to be right? (I should have basic tools to measure voltage, resistance etc)

Thank you so much!!!

I've been thinking about buying it. This is not a favorable signal.

Is your MT1 new edition or old edition? Does it have 3 pre-amp tubes or two?

I wish you get the answer, because I'm interested in the answer as well. Can you please post pictures of what you did with the potentiometers?
