Just wondering if all 9-pin sockets are the same on devices sold in the US? I found a tube adapter on ebay and hope it will fit my tubes. I am just getting started in an old tube amp project and learning how much I need to learn (and buy) to get going. I hope it is worth it. Any advise on tube sizes is much appreciated.

No. Novar = 0.040" pins, Magnoval = 0.050" pins.
