Hi,
Building a 12AU7 cathode follower line buffer after a stock 2 volt cd player. Want to run a simple C-L-C using (2) Solen 47uF PPE caps. Told to buy a Hammond 5H choke. My power supply is 125v-125v, 12.6v 300mA heaters. There are so many different values of 5H chokes http://www.tubesandmore.com/scripts/...RC&PAGE=SUBCAT Want to end up with 95-100 vdc B+ What choke should I buy? Any comments on 12AU7 would be appreciated. I purchased the Decware EM0705 125v-125v, 12.6v 300mA supply. If this supply can run a couple of 5687"s or a single 6922 or 6N1P I would be very interested in trying other routes besides the ECC82. ZKIT5 power supply kit |

Use double PI LCLC filter with choke input. That means there is no capacitor between the rectifier and the first choke.

The 6N1P is 6.3v 600mA heated, so your supply won't work with that tube.
