Default adding reverb to Bassman circuit

Hi, I play bass through a modified Bassman circuit. It had been altered before I bought the amp, but I just love the sound. I'd like to add reverb, but every time I mix the wet signal in it diminishes the overall levels unacceptably. Does anyone have suggestions for where to take the reverb off the preamp and how to mix it back in? The reverb schematic I've been using is a standard Fender with parallelled 12AT7 driver and half a 12AX7 makeup. I've tried taking out the voltage divider following the reverb level knob but I think it's screwing up my impedance going into the phase splitter.

I'm trying to maintain the integrity of the original tone as much as possible, but I'm open to suggestions. thanks!

Take a look at a Twin Reverb schematic and you'll notice that the reverb channel has an extra 12AX7 gain stage along with the reverb circuit (doubled 12AT7 and single 12AX7 sections). The mix is right after the 3.3M/10pf combo, the clean signal goes thru the RC network and mixes with the dirty signal. Can you post the schematic of what you have now and do you still have half a 12AX7 left?
