Hi everyone this is my first posting on youre forums and would just like to say a bit of a tube novice. I have a pp ultralinear output transformer in a 60w kt-88 amp but it is wired for 200 ohm output i know it has the windings for 16 ohm 8 ohm etc but do not have the knowledge on how to rewire it i have a picture and have marked the windings which i checked with a multimeter each winding appears to be approx 0.8 ohms i am just unsure on what to link for output feedback etc can any one help please many thanks

My guess:
C = common (or ground) CT= 4, 8 16 ohm "center taps" 200z = as marked. This is not authoritative, just a guess. ..Todd Last edited by taj; 13th February 2010 at 05:34 PM. |
