whoa!
you can buy the Shanling SCD-T200 (SACD version) in the Philippines for around USD1,600 brand new. Though I prefer the T100 for HDCD, but they're on order basis.

I was just using it today, as a friend of mine bought the Partsconnexion modified SACD version. It's pretty good.

i cant wait till i build my cd-pro2 I want to. No more store bought ones. Ill have to figure out how to get it balanced though as i want all my stuff balanced.

hmmm , I wonder how long one of these players will last . $1600 is a lot to pay for something like this , when a Sony SACD player can be picked up (over here) for £120/$180 and easily modded . The Shanlin player also looks very gimicky and over-the-top . It would also be interesting to see what is under those rather large-looking transformer covers .
ps WE 396a are nothing special , I found Sylvania 5670 to be preferable . The WE were too micophonic for my liking 316a
