Current drive of speakers?
Sophisticated EQ is needed, but indeed distortions would be minimized.

Looking at your schematic, either the upper triode get positive bias, relative to its' cathode, or you didn't draw its' control grid and the way it's being biased.

Yes, the upper triode work with “positive bias.

Actuaaly I use a DIY speakers with a full range Lowell 810 modificated and a Isophon dome tweeeter.
