richwalters diyAudio Member Join Date: Sep 2003 Location: Alps:Tube amp designs over 150W, SMPS guru.	New valve int flash over why ? Just fitted new TungSol 6550 NI and I noticed a blue flash. B+=450V; Iquies 60mA; Now backed of Iquies to 50mA and no flicker problems. Is this a jump start phenonema of new tubes before running in. Anyone else had sim ? richy
