Default Anyone got any info on the Tippatone 500 watt amps?

Like schematics, valves used etc people often baulk at big wattage amps but all the Jamaican sound systems were bouncing with that kind of power!

I doubt it very seriously if this amp as depicted in the video is putting out 500 Watts of output power.
Do you have a clue how hard it would be or how heavy....or how much power would be consumed to generate this level of output power with a tube amplifier?
More than likely the reference to 500 Watts is the power CONSUMED........& not the power output.
Just the output transformers would be the size of a basketball................let alone the B+ main, the chokes, the filament TXs' et. al.

That EL6471 looks so cool, class B though... I was hoping for 'at worst' AB1 (triode).
And those guitar amps are crazy! I was hoping to put together a 100/200 watt bass guitar amp using triodes, probably use 304TL or similar
