modified GEC 88-50
im looking at modifying the current 88-50 using 6550s with B+ 450 and cathode biased at 40V.
converting this to fixed biased cct with B+ 450, cathode to GND and grid #1 at -47V. OPT is hammond 1650R, 5000ohms. would this sound any better than the original? any modified cct reference for me would be good. thks |
