I wonder if anybody around here has experimented with this tube, it is designed as a 30 Watt power 'beam' triode used in the shunt stabilisator of very old color tv's.
It is commonly known that this tube produces X-ray radiation at the high voltage in color tv's.
But now i wonder if it is useable at lower voltages (500 volts and lower) and how safe it is to experiment with it.
Also it states 1,6 mA as max current, would this also apply to lower voltages?

I have recently acquired quite a few of them and have no use for them now..

EDIT: ok, forget it, i just realised there will go almost no current through this 'tube' at a lower voltage..
