Single-endet Stereo Amp KT88, 6L6, 6P3S
Hi
I found on e-bay something interesting. http://cgi.ebay.de/Single-endet-Ster...item19b5490837 Any one try it, I would like to know more about this amp. What do you think about the diagram and the pcb design. The seller said in his diagram that you can use also as a PP amp. I would like to order one pcb, I have some 6p3s e tubes. Thanks |

Personally I would go for one of George's (tubelab) SimpleSE amps (bareboard) before I would go with one of these. There are a couple of odd things in the schematics which are not clearly explained - obviously options at least wrt to the connection of the OPTS. For PP mono operation this amplifier would certainly have to be be driven balanced. Overall I don't think it is that great a design.
