Default new idea for a tube power amp

Hi
I did this project not too long ago, the idea is separate the out-put tube (805) and the out-put transformers in 3 cabinets for stereo . key point is shorten the speaker's cable , I can put the out-put transformer unit close to the speakers and use very short wires for connection, but the cable for connecting the out-put tube and the out-put transformer unit has to be long enough for your set-up,and this cable is driving in 800 dcv and 120ma , no need thick wire, only make sure for safety .
this amp is all DHT (#26 WE300B RCA805) in transformer coupling with no feedback, all silver include all transformers in sound path, each tube has it's own power supply.
result ? perfect , even I only use the small bookshelf place in floor for test, sound stage is open behind and up in the air

That's a very slick setup. It looks well done all around. Have you put copper flashing on the iron laminations for noise reduction?

actually that does not help much, the set up is very quiet enough because of separating the power supply

Copper strip doesn't reduce noisy laminations..A pot of varnish usually solves this.

pot a transformer cost too much money , also come up with material issue ,noise problem for a power amp mainly is hum, although the out-put transformer is set with the power supply, but it is step down trans, so no noise there, cooper strip mainly for cosmetic, 800v and over 200 ma will ring the choke in power supply, 120 ma is OK, separate power supply from the amp will erase all noise problems,
the picture show the amp's schematic I hope you can read and understand, I don't know how to use computer to draw, my computer knowledge's level is very low
the circuit is quit simple, most diyers can handle I believe , only 800v high voltage will be a little bite too high to someone. the 805 tube is working in positive bias, so it sound different compare to those negative bias amp (300B 211 845 etc,) they sound like a bucket of water with holes in the bottom, water flow out just by nature, but positive bias amp sound like water come out by pressure just like jet, make image to have real body feeling and close to the real sound, if you want to try this taste and you are not a diyer, you can buy one from WAVAC, but the price !!!!
all audio silver transformers are custom made by Electric Print Audio and power trans is from Harmond

Yikes. I'd rather run the low voltage secondary wiring to the speakers. The thought of 800Vdc running across the room is,un-nerving.

What speaker brand are you using ? Still have some job to do placing everything if you intend to use it .How much did you pay for the silver Electra Print outputs ? Thanks for the schematic .
