has anybody got a datasheet for 6n9p in English?

I can find lots in Chinese but alas alas alas......

Hello,
Chinese 6N9P Very close to Russian 6n9C or US 6SL7GT / ECC35.

yes, so I understand...I wanted the data sheet to see just how close.....

its proving very trixy to find in English

Try this: 6N9S (6H9C) Not quite what you are looking for, but should be very close.
