I have an old HK 6v6 pp receiver that has a nasty pop when I power it down. I put a .01uf cermaic cap across the power switch and that seemd to take care of it.
My question: I see in schematics that the cap is variously placed either 1) across the switch, or 2) across the AC line in or 3) across the PT primaries. What is the proper or best way to apply the cap? Thanks |
