Default Greetings from ETF!

The diyAudio contingent has done well. The score so far:

10 bottles of Belgian beer with Pete Millett.
3 bottles of wine with Yves M.
Unconscionable amounts of Scotch with EC8010.
Yet more beer with Jan-Arend.
And yet more wine with janneman.

Oh, yeah, and there were some lectures.

Sleep? What does that word mean?

A friend in college used to say: "Life is what you make it, so get out and shake it".

You appear to know him!

Keep it up lads.

Default Greetings from ETF

/OT warning

Morgan Jones just completed the auction at European Triode Festival. I won a pair of 10 ft long, garden-hose diameter Monster speaker cables. Beautifully terminated in black and red cladding, gold spades. Can't wait to hear the strong, clean, moving bass that must come out of these babies!

We had a 'shoot-out' of 32 different SE output transformers (yes, tube amps still use those!). It wasn't the biggest one that won, and not the smallest one that lost. Very interesting, I'm sure you can read all about it in the ETF thread in a day or so.

/OT warning off

I'd be very interested to hear about the results.
