Looks like some university is getting rid of Heath IP-17/2717 power supplies --

The transformers could power a nice EL84 amplifier. The problem with the C- supply in the Heath units is that the voltage wanders all over the place, dependent upon the load on the B+ supply.
But I use mine all the time! |

What type of regulation does it use?
Tube Regulator? I don't have a bench supply and it might be worth persuing. |
