Looks like some university is getting rid of Heath IP-17/2717 power supplies --

What did they do with the -V supply? It's missing the pot and switch!

I really like my SP-2717.

The transformers could power a nice EL84 amplifier. The problem with the C- supply in the Heath units is that the voltage wanders all over the place, dependent upon the load on the B+ supply.

But I use mine all the time!

What type of regulation does it use?

Tube Regulator?

I don't have a bench supply and it might be worth persuing.

Yes, the 2 I have were tubed -- 6L6's if I recall.
