Yes, I think the layout problems are much better addressed in your last photo. RCA inputs near input tubes is best for signal, and switched IEC near power transformer good. If you are going to put the speaker posts on the top plate, I would place them just behind the output transformers.
I think this layout keeps all signal and power wiring as far apart as possible, and you also get to see your glowing tubes when in use, rather than the output transformers
See Jones regarding magnetic interaction of transformers. He shows where the most flux leakage occurs from transformers. Spacing you have between transformers looks good.

Thanks again for your ideas. I'm waiting before to drill, for some stuff ordered to Triodeelectronics, some caps , a real choke ( the one in the photo is just a step down transf.), and 8 pin sockets for the rectifier.
In the meantime I'll try all the suggested arrangements to see pros and cons...
