Default TJ Full Music Factory Tour Now Online

Hi DIy'ers,

Am right now in China and touring a few manufacturing facilities. Todat i went to the TJ Full Music factory and you can see how to 'diy' tubes Ok, seriously, it was awesome seeing how they make tubes, very labor intensive!

China Grand Tour 2009 Join me as we explore many of China's high-end audio manufacturing facilities. Reports By Steven R. Rochlin

Tomorrow i will be visiting another tube factory so also check back in 24 hours for that one.

Keep those Wellers hot and workbench ready for fabrication.

I had no idea that TJ made such a big variety of tubes. (I knew they make a lot of moderately exotic DHTs, but the others shown surprised me.) The carbon plate KT88 looks pretty interesting.

Very interesting. I couldn't help noticing that very early production (square corners) Tektronix 570 curve tracer. And those custom made test stations reminds me of the long gone JFF Research in Nutley New Jersey where testing was done for most of the surplus dealers.

Hollowstate, i have been to Nutley(!) a few times because a friend lives there. Simply mentioning it because one NEVER hears about Nutley.
