Hello there,
Because of my DIY phono stage high Zout, I would like to optimise an amp input stage around a 220k or above value pot (it doesn't work well with my existing input stage). I also tried a cathode follower at the end of the RIAA preamp but still prefer my 2x6sl7 anode follower passive preamp "RCA style". With this one, I just miss the frequency extremes.
What are the rules to design an input stage (anode follower please) around such a value, or in fact around any input impedance value ?
Thanks in advance !
eric
