I've been using Duncans PSUD program...I'm getting my target voltages , using the soft start option really dials it in just fine. Two questions, what is the particular circuit Duncan is using for the soft start sim? Further, my sim put a 200 millisecond spike above my rating, topping at 400mA draw on my select transformer...however "my" transformer is rated for 300mA...........will that just wind up opening the windings or what? .:: Bazzi Amplifiers ::.

eh? a short surge ain't gonna hurt the trafo. Might hurt the rectifiers though, if it exceeds their rating.
